Dr. Tina L. Jackson is a board-certified psychiatrist with special interest in mental health issues of underserved populations. After serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the East Tennessee area, Dr. Jackson saw a need for more doctors to serve rural areas. She then went on to medical school and received her Medical Doctor degree in 2016 from East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.
She is an accomplished, compassionate psychiatrist who is highly honored and recognized for her American Psychiatric Association (APA) appointments and numerous publications. She participated in Rural Medicine Program while in medical school. After graduating, she continues to volunteer in other organizations both locally and internationally; such as participating in
multiple foreign medical mission trips in Romania, Guatemala and in multiple ministries with Magnolia and Vestal United Church.
Outside of family, Dr. Jackson’s interests include hiking and enjoying water sports on the plentiful local lakes and rivers.
She serves as the supervising medical doctor and collaborator at Oasis Health and Wellness.
